Description

We are seeking a Manager, Stress Testing to support the end-to-end delivery of US HSBC North America Holdings (HNAH) and Group stress testing activities.

The successful candidate will be responsible for high-quality execution across analysis, review and challenge, documentation, process controls, process improvement, governance support and submission readiness.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the delivery of CCAR and other US/Group stress tests
  • Executing and/or supporting model runs and results production for balance sheet and P&L components
  • Performing analysis of stress test outputs and preparing clear, decision-useful commentary
  • Producing regulatory submissions and required regulatory documentation
  • Conducting and documenting model- and management-level Review & Challenge (R&C)
  • Maintaining high-quality stress testing documentation and process controls
  • Supporting end-to-end coordination across stakeholders and maintaining schedules and delivery tracking
  • Preparing governance management materials for senior management and Board-level review
  • Supporting regulatory submission readiness and audit-trail quality control
  • Implementing new models, tools, processes or automated solutions to support changes in requirements
  • Improving efficiency and reducing cost of existing processes
  • Making day-to-day decisions within assigned workstreams and escalating issues, risks and timeline slippages promptly

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Demonstrable experience in an analytical role within a bank or large financial services firm
  • Prior CCAR experience
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills
  • Strong written communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills and PowerPoint skills
  • A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative discipline
