Events Lead

SpaceXSI is seeking an Events Lead to join their high-output events team, focusing on events and experiences. As an Events Lead, you will have end-to-end ownership of external-facing events, from concept through production and onsite execution.

The Events Lead will work closely with Growth, Sales, Field Growth, Community, and Developer Relations to expand SpaceXSI's reach, build relationships with builders, and drive enterprise awareness, sales, and product attachment.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and execute VIP events, special events, 3rd party events, and customer experiences from start to finish
• Develop and manage event agendas, registration, invite lists, and communicate directly with high-level executive customers
• Provide onsite event management, including evening receptions and weekend events
• Ideate and implement creative branding elements to enhance attendee experiences
• Lead administrative tasks for the department, including supply ordering, budget tracking, and inventory oversight
• Use AI extensively in the workplace to create efficiencies and automate department processes
• Work with the Merchandising Team on customer and event gifting and branded décor items
• Work with security teams to facilitate guest security clearances

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years of experience in event planning in a fast-paced and tech-forward environment

Preferred Skills and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, event management, hospitality, or related field
• Hands-on experience in all event planning aspects
• Comfortable working in ambiguity and have experience building event programs and owning events in fast-paced environments
• Strong communication skills and highly operational focus
• Proficiency in Microsoft programs, event diagramming software, event registration platforms, and organisational tools

Compensation and Benefits:

• $125,000 - $150,000 USD
