Description
We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist to join our Children's Speech and Language Therapy Service in the London Borough of Redbridge. The successful candidate will work in one of the following specialist pathways: Mainstream Schools and Speech Sound Disorders, Mainstream Schools and Selective Mutism, Early Years Complex Needs and Preschool Social Communication Team.
The role involves delivering care to service users in community, clinics, and education settings. Key responsibilities include:
- Providing comprehensive Speech and Language Therapy Services to clients with social communication needs and speech and language disorders
- Organising and prioritising own workload
- Deputising for the team manager and delegating tasks to junior colleagues
- Contributing to multidisciplinary support for clients
- Providing feedback and advice to parents, carers, and the multidisciplinary team
- Developing and delivering training and support packages
- Regularly attending supervision to develop reflective and clinical decision-making skills
We offer a salary of £39,959 to £48,117 per year, a permanent full-time contract, and a range of benefits. The post is band 6, and we also consider applications for a Band 5-6 Development Post.
