Gearbox Assembly Mechanic

As a Gearbox Assembly Mechanic at Audi Formula Racing GmbH in Neuburg, Germany, you will work on a key component of a high-performance drivetrain, contributing to competitiveness in a highly competitive environment.

Your tasks will include:

• Independent assembly and commissioning of motorsport sequential racing gearboxes
• Manufacturing fixtures and tools to simplify assembly work with the design department
• Testing, adjusting, and commissioning gearboxes and their subsystems
• Performing assembly-accompanying measurements and adjustments
• Troubleshooting components and the overall system with component owners
• Documenting individual work steps
• Continuously improving work processes in gearbox component production
• Identifying issues in the assembly process with component owners and quality assurance

• Excellent understanding of mechanical systems
• Solid vocational training or technical qualification with professional experience in motorsport
• Ability to work in global teams
