Description
The Executive Chef oversees multiple kitchen outlets, ensuring consistency and high-quality food experiences for guests and VIPs. You will contribute directly to SpaceXAI's success, working with the executive chef to conceptualize and manage various food services.
Responsibilities
- Set and enforce operational standards across multiple kitchen outlets and service formats
- Support the executive chef and sous chefs in operations, team development, and department management
- Ensure food and workplace safety in all food service areas
- Train staff on work planning, safety protocols, and health inspection guidelines
- Oversee hiring and disciplinary actions for team members, focusing on overall well-being
- Coordinate new outlet openings, emphasizing VIP experiences
- Manage ongoing operations of new outlets
- Meet cost per head targets set by the executive chef
- Support team management, including hiring, development, and retention
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Culinary degree and 4+ years of industry experience, or 6+ years of experience
- 2+ years of experience in a multi-outlet operation facility
- Kitchen or dining area renovation/construction experience
- Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs)
- ServSafe or equivalent certification required
- Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and perform physical tasks
- Availability to work all shifts, including extended hours and weekends
- Participation in internal leadership and development training required
- Valid driver's license and food manager's certification
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Culinary degree
- Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency
- Corporate environment experience
- High-volume or batch cooking experience
- Leadership experience with 20+ team members
- Advanced kitchen equipment knowledge and safe operations expertise
- Excellent communication skills
Compensation and Benefits
The salary range is $100,000 - $165,000 USD. The total rewards package includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, disability insurance, life insurance, and other perks.
