Executive Chef

The Executive Chef oversees multiple kitchen outlets, ensuring consistency and high-quality food experiences for guests and VIPs. You will contribute directly to SpaceXAI's success, working with the executive chef to conceptualize and manage various food services.

Responsibilities

• Set and enforce operational standards across multiple kitchen outlets and service formats
• Support the executive chef and sous chefs in operations, team development, and department management
• Ensure food and workplace safety in all food service areas
• Train staff on work planning, safety protocols, and health inspection guidelines
• Oversee hiring and disciplinary actions for team members, focusing on overall well-being
• Coordinate new outlet openings, emphasizing VIP experiences
• Manage ongoing operations of new outlets
• Meet cost per head targets set by the executive chef
• Support team management, including hiring, development, and retention

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Culinary degree and 4+ years of industry experience, or 6+ years of experience
• 2+ years of experience in a multi-outlet operation facility
• Kitchen or dining area renovation/construction experience
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 25 lbs)
• ServSafe or equivalent certification required
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and perform physical tasks
• Availability to work all shifts, including extended hours and weekends
• Participation in internal leadership and development training required
• Valid driver's license and food manager's certification

• Culinary degree
• Microsoft Office and Outlook proficiency
• Corporate environment experience
• High-volume or batch cooking experience
• Leadership experience with 20+ team members
• Advanced kitchen equipment knowledge and safe operations expertise
• Excellent communication skills

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $100,000 - $165,000 USD. The total rewards package includes equity, comprehensive medical, vision, and dental coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, disability insurance, life insurance, and other perks.
