Description
We are seeking a passionate Product Designer to join our Montreal office and work on Lyft's micromobility Operations Technology team. As a member of this team, you will be responsible for evolving the platform that drives the global on-the-ground operations of our business.
You will design features used in warehouses, vans, and on-the-ground to make our transportation systems reliable. You will tackle complex technical challenges and advocate for experiences that delight our operators and promote efficiency.
As a product designer at Lyft, you will be involved in every step of product development, from brainstorming ideas to ensuring design quality through launch. You will use your interaction, visual, and product thinking skills.
Responsibilities:
- Problem-solve, think big, and explore divergent concepts while understanding how to converge and build iteratively towards your vision.
- Plan strategically and think tactically as a partner with product and engineering to define the future of the team.
- Influence the shape of the product with research and data while executing design work using high-quality wireframes, mockups, user journeys, and cross-platform interactive prototypes.
- Advocate for design by sharing your work and presenting cross-functionally.
- Inspire the team by bringing new ideas to the table.
- Create a unified, end-to-end experience through close collaboration with team members.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience working in UX, UI, HCI related fields with experience working on web and mobile design.
- Experience working with a lean team of engineers, product managers, and program managers.
- Experience designing innovative products for desktop and mobile.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with user research methods and analysis.
- Expertise with Figma and other prototyping tools.
- Excellence in design craft.
- Ability to work with a low-ego, highly collaborative, cross-functional team.

The expected base pay range for this position in the Montreal area is CAD $88,000 - CAD $110,000.
