Description
We are seeking a Technical Artist (DCC Tools) to join our EA SPORTS Technology team in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. As a Technical Artist, you will develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators across all of EA SPORTS.
The ideal candidate will have at least 3+ years of cinematic/games production experience and a bachelor's degree in a related field. You must be proficient in scripting/programming in Python or C# and have experience with 2D/3D art packages such as Maya, Photoshop, and Houdini.
Responsibilities:
- Develop pipelines, workflows, and technology innovations used by content creators
- Partner with development teams to build shared and scalable solutions
- Assume ownership over technical issues that arise on projects and bring them to resolution
Requirements:
- At least 3+ years of cinematic/games production experience
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Effective communication with different audiences
- Proficient in scripting/programming in Python or C#
- Experience with 2D/3D art packages
- Solutions-provider with testing and debugging technical issues
- Experience with asset optimization challenges/techniques
- Willingness to jump into unknown problems and solve technical challenges
