Senior Systems Engineer - Associate - Infrastructure Critical Services - IT

We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to work with the Critical Service Delivery team, which is responsible for designing and building HKEX IT infrastructure for core mission-critical systems.

The successful candidate will work closely with the Critical Service Delivery Lead in managing critical IT solutions implementation and collaborate with the Critical Service Support and Engineering team on technical solutions and support.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with application teams on IT solution implementations.
• Interact with internal and external parties on planning and execution.
• Follow project plans to ensure all milestones and deadlines are met.
• Compile project and technical documents, such as project plans, technical specifications, and test reports.
• Implement and manage automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Information System, or IT-related disciplines.
• 5+ years of hands-on Linux administration, troubleshooting, and security hardening experience.
• Hands-on experience in Linux OS configuration, troubleshooting, and security hardening.
• Willing to work on weekends for server setup and testing.
• Good team player with aspirations for career development in the top-tier financial industry.
