Description
Anthropic's Investor Relations team manages the company's engagement with investors and the financial community. The Director of Investor Relations will build the company's investor engagement and investment narrative, inform investors' understanding of Anthropic's mission, strategy, financial performance, and core advantages.
Key responsibilities:
- Serve as a thought partner to the Head of Investor Relations in shaping priorities and direction
- Build strong relationships with senior members of the investment community
- Draft and refine investor-facing messaging on financial performance, strategy, and progress
- Represent Anthropic in investor meetings, answering questions on the company's business and product suite
- Advise leadership on investor sentiment, market expectations, and key decisions
- Develop a view of Anthropic's shareholder base and lead investor targeting and outreach
- Track developments across AI and technology, distilling them into concise internal briefings
- Manage cross-functional initiatives involving stakeholders across departments
- Prepare the executive team for investor conversations
- Help build systems, templates, and processes for a lean investor relations function
Minimum qualifications:
- Experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or a comparable capital markets role
- Experience synthesizing complex financial and strategic information into written work
- Demonstrated judgment handling confidential and market-sensitive information
- Excellent written communication
- Experience interacting directly with institutional investors, analysts, or a company's executive team
- Ability to build and maintain financial models
Preferred qualifications:
- Depth in technology, software, semiconductors, or AI infrastructure
- Experience owning a sector or company as a lead analyst
- Experience at a high-growth technology company as a senior member of the investor relations function
- Familiarity with consumption-based, API-first, or enterprise software revenue models
- Comfort working directly with executives, board members, and external advisors
- Interest in AI safety and enthusiasm for explaining a research-driven company to a financial audience
The annual compensation range for this role is $425,000-$600,000 USD.
