As part of the Enterprise Product team, the Enterprise Engineering team is responsible for bridging the gap between Stripe's core capabilities and the bespoke needs of the world's largest organizations. Our mission is to improve Stripe's product-market fit with enterprise users to win more deals and grow revenue, while giving every enterprise user an excellent experience as they onboard, activate, and grow their business with Stripe.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Designing, building, and maintaining scalable, reliable, and performant services and systems
- Collaborating with other engineers across Stripe, as well as stakeholders across product, design, risk, legal, and operations
- Building easy-to-use systems that streamline adoption of Stripe and enable safe migration of data
- Making effective trade-offs that consider business priorities, user experience, and a sustainable technical foundation
- Improving engineering standards, tooling, and processes
To be successful in this role, you should have:
- 2+ years of industry experience shipping high-quality products
- Strong analytical capability and ability to quickly ramp up in a new area, and tackle ambiguous problems
- Experience building end-to-end solutions, including full development lifecycle of deploying and maintaining infrastructure
- Experience with web software development
- High standards when working with production systems
- Pride in taking ownership and driving projects to business impact

- Strong collaboration and communication skills with both technical and non-technical counterparts
- Ability to reason clearly and move with urgency in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Creativity in designing and delivering the best solutions for users
- Enjoyment of a range of product development activities, from architecture design and planning, to user interviews, to writing code
