We're seeking a Pharmacy Colleague to join our team in South Shields. As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service, driving awareness of our pharmacy services, and supporting our pharmacist team.
About the Role
To be successful in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check. Our stores operate 24/7, offering a range of shift patterns to accommodate different lifestyles. Weekend working is a requirement, and flexibility with your work pattern may be necessary.
As a Pharmacy Colleague, you will:
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers feel welcome and supported
- Accurately assemble and process prescriptions
- Drive awareness of our pharmacy services, such as Prescription Collection Service and Medicines Use Reviews
- Support the pharmacist with patient services, including blood pressure checks and stop-smoking schemes
- Develop an understanding of our Standard Operating Procedures and adhere to them
- Collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers
