Description
We're seeking a Firmware Engineer Graduate to join our team. As a Hybrid role, you'll work on average 2 days per week from an HPE office.
As a Firmware Engineer, you'll analyze, design, program, debug, and modify firmware, including DSP, embedded code, BMC, and BIOS/UEFI. Your work will involve analog and digital hardware and real-time operating systems, requiring knowledge of hardware design. You'll typically program in machine language and high-level object-oriented programming languages like C and Python.
Responsibilities:
- Code and program enhancements, updates, and changes for firmware portions and subsystems, including DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers, EFI applications, and BIOS/UEFI.
- Execute established test plans and protocols for assigned code portions; identify, log, and debug assigned issues.
- Develop relationships with internal and outsourced development partners on firmware design and development.
- Participate as a team member with other firmware engineers and development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.
- Typically 0-2 years of experience.
- Experience or understanding of firmware design tools and languages.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Understanding of firmware and hardware design principles.
- Understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
- Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Salary range: $75,700 - $143,900 per year (varies by location)
