Forward Deployed Software Engineer, Internship - Defense Tech

Palantir builds the world's leading software for data-driven decisions and operations. As a Forward Deployed Software Engineer (FDSE) Intern, you will work directly with defense customers to plan and execute operations, understand their personnel and equipment footprint, and communicate in real-time with mission partners and legacy systems.

Core Responsibilities:

• Work in small teams with minimal supervision and own end-to-end execution of high-stakes projects
• Support work focusing on delivering Palantir Defense capabilities to critical mission partners
• Discuss architecture with fellow engineers, wrangle massive-scale data, code custom web apps, speak with customer contacts, or establish strategy for your team
• Take responsibility for real-world projects and outcomes that customers rely on

What We Require:

• Active US Security clearance or eligibility and willingness to obtain one
• Engineering background (Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, Data Science)
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages (Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript)
• Planning to graduate in 2028 (final internship before graduating)

Salary: The estimated salary range for this position is $10,000/month.
