Senior Analyst - EA SPORTS

Electronic Arts creates entertainment that inspires players and fans worldwide. The Data & Insights (D&I) team transforms data into actionable insights that power EA.

As a Senior Analyst in the D&I team, you will report to the Director of Analytics and have an impact on all game systems in EA SPORTS titles, such as Madden Mobile.

Responsibilities:

• Analyse player behaviour, feature performance, economy health, retention, engagement, and monetisation in Madden Mobile and similar mobile sports titles.
• Partner with Product Managers and Designers to translate business questions into clear, actionable insights.
• Build dashboards and presentations that communicate performance trends, recommendations, and success criteria to team members.
• Design telemetry and partner with Data Engineering to improve data quality and scalable analysis.
• Develop expertise in EA SPORTS titles' datasets to identify opportunities for product optimisation.
• Model, simulate, and run experiments on complex gameplay systems throughout the development lifecycle.

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of professional experience informing product strategy with data analysis in gaming or adjacent digital products with high independence.
• Degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, or related discipline).
• Expert-level SQL proficiency with experience extracting insights from complex datasets.
• Experience designing self-service dashboards using Tableau, Looker, or other similar tools.
• Experience using Python or similar for analysis, modelling, segmentation, experimentation, or hypothesis testing.
• Familiarity with mobile live service games, player retention, economy systems, or American football.
