STA Engineer - PTO Resident

We are seeking a STA Engineer - PTO Resident to join our team at Ford Motor Company. As a STA Engineer - PTO Resident, you will lead critical supplier process improvements, participate in cross-functional meetings, and drive resolution of external supplier process warranty concerns.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate part quality confirmation process for suppliers with repetitive containment failure.
• Lead containment of special-cause supplier process projects.
• Drive root cause analysis activities with select critical to quality suppliers.
• Align with PRT on Supplier Process issues.
• Provide early notification to and engage the STA Site team on potential Stop Shipments.
• Support in containing supplier Stop Ship issues.
• Monitor daily production report and provide notification to STA management for issues that require Site STA team awareness/intervention.
• Act as supplier representative and liaison between STA and manufacturing plant management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science / Engineering, or equivalent technical / manufacturing aptitude.
• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines.
