Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Acute Care team at High Point Medical Center. As a Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting a cooperative work environment, providing patient care assessment and treatment, and maintaining accurate documentation.
Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans with realistic goals, and encourage patients and significant others in setting goals.
- Supervise support staff assisting with patient care, providing direction and feedback.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes.
- Meet department financial and productivity standards, adjusting individual schedules as needed.
- Participate in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services, identifying areas for improvement.
- Promote professional development and education of other healthcare workers, providing representation on committees.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
Requirements:
- B.S., M.S., or D.P.T degree from an accredited physical therapy school.
- Current licensure in the state of North Carolina.
- CPR certification in Basic Life Support, Level C.
Benefits:
- Competitive salary range: $38.20 - $57.30 per hour.

Schedule:
- 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with weekend coverage once monthly.
