New Model Project Manager

We are seeking a New Model Project Manager to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Raymond, Ohio. As a New Model Project Manager, you will be responsible for supporting minor model development cost activities, including Bill Of Material maturation, ML communication across HDMA, DB Cost Correlation, and Cost Roll-up/Reporting to top management. You will also provide support on full model development activities and demonstrate understanding of the technical processes involved in new model cost management.

Key Accountabilities:

• Manage and support minor model and/or full model project management
• Resolve problems/issues with new model development
• Communicate effectively with other groups to establish/report accurate new model costs
• Prepare and analyse data to support New Model cost presentations that explain cost/investment to management
• Analyse results and investigate cost change reasons
• Confirm cost change reasons by part for summarization and reporting
• Review and cost-based part structures for New Models
• Understand group business plan goals and how role/responsibility achieves those goals

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Minimum Educational Qualifications: College degree (Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or Purchasing) preferred or equivalent relevant experience
• Minimum Experience: 0-4 years of relevant experience based on education, 0-2 years accounting/finance (cost management) experience
• Other Job Specific Skills: New model project management experience, Understanding of Bill of Materials, cost systems, and design change systems
