Quality Technician - Level III - SHOP

As a Quality Technician - Level III - SHOP at Cummins Inc. in Wuxi, China, you will support engineers in carrying out production-related and inspection jobs, assist in monitoring materials quality in processing plants, and make required adjustments. You will also ensure the maintenance of documentation and records.

Key Responsibilities:

• Compare physical characteristics of components, materials, equipment, and products to technical specifications to identify defects.
• Conduct simple tests on electrical function, reliability, and packaging quality.
• Record results and prepare simple technical reports.
• Provide product and component testing using a range of measurement equipment.
• Provide advanced programming, training, and operation of measurement and test equipment.
• Assist customers in understanding and interpreting product specifications and application of measurement data.
• Participate in measurement uncertainty studies for measurements associated with measurement or calibration results.
• Ensure proper maintenance and calibration of measurement and test equipment.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Comply with work schedule adjustments and temporary additional inspection tasks.
• Arrange inspection personnel schedules based on production plans.
• Manage inspection personnel attendance.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:

• High school diploma or certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience.
