Description
We are seeking a Senior Development Lead to join our Asia Securities Lending Technology team in PBSFT. The successful candidate will support the continuous growth of the Asia Securities Lending business and development team.
As a Lead Developer at Vice President level, you will take full ownership of assigned deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing and deployment. You will work closely with the securities lending trading desk to gather requirements, innovate and architect solutions, both on-premises and using public cloud technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables throughout the software development lifecycle
- Work as a hands-on developer in Java/Scala
- Collaborate with the securities lending trading desk to gather requirements and architect solutions
- Strong communication skills are essential for stakeholder interaction with the trading business
Requirements:
- At least 12 years of relevant experience
- Advanced understanding of business lines and disciplines
- Proficient in Java/Scala with a strong algorithmic and data structures background
- Experience working directly with a front office trading function
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Relational database design and SQL
