Description
As a Forward Deployed Engineer at SnapLogic, you will lead complex end-to-end deployments of Jean-Paul in production alongside strategic customers. You will own discovery, technical scoping, connectivity, and rollout, partnering with customer engineering and business teams. Your success will be measured by production adoption, measurable workflow impact, and field feedback that influences future development.
Key Responsibilities
- Enable customers to build and deploy use cases independently, ensuring they can continue to ship without your presence
- Expand across business functions, identifying adjacent opportunities and turning initial successes into internal stories that drive further adoption
- Conduct thorough discovery and mapping of new landscapes at each customer site, surfacing valuable use cases and making their value visible to leadership
- Deploy Jean-Paul into various environments, including customer VPCs, on-premises Docker hosts, and behind proxies and firewalls
- Establish secure connections, set up SSO, and integrate with AI providers
- Develop the context layer that makes agents trustworthy and provides accurate, reliable information
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on engineering or technical deployment experience, including infrastructure work and enterprise SSO/OAuth
- Experience building or deploying systems powered by large language models (LLMs) or agents
- Ability to differentiate between connected and usable systems, with judgment to build trustworthy context layers
- Comfortable working with confused stakeholders, surfacing future states, and making others better at technical aspects
