Description
As the Senior Manager, Internal Communications at Pomelo Care, you'll ensure strategy, organizational updates, and operational changes are communicated clearly to the teams that need them.
This role reports to the VP, People and can be based anywhere in the continental US.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement content strategies for company-wide communications, including agendas and speaker prep for all-company forums
- Partner with executive leadership and external PR to support company-wide change management needs
- Establish a framework to define the level of communication plans or interventions based on factors such as scale, complexity, and sensitivity of the change
- Manage a comprehensive communications calendar to sequence updates deliberately
- Create resources to empower individuals across the company to communicate in an impactful, clear way that aligns with the brand voice
- Embed with the clinical team to understand their audience, experiences, and strategic roadmap
- Partner with clinical leaders and operational dyads to build communication into initiative planning
- Manage the clinical communications calendar and develop guidelines for effective messaging
- Act as an editorial thought partner to clinical and operational leaders
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in internal communications, strategic operations, or executive communications, ideally in a healthcare or clinical environment
- Clear and direct communicator, verbally and in writing
- Editorial backbone, with the confidence to challenge senior leaders
- Deep empathy and understanding of how to write for a diverse audience
- Systems thinker, able to extrapolate from a concrete task to a template, framework, and philosophy
- Organized and detail-oriented, with a track record of managing calendars and multi-channel rollouts

Compensation:
The expected base salary range offered for this role is $140,000-$160,000. This role is also eligible for equity, giving you an ownership stake in Pomelo's mission.
