Description
We are seeking a talented Product Design Technician – Level III to join our Engineering team at our facility in Stoughton, WI.
In this role, you will drive product quality and performance by creating and maintaining precise specifications, drawings, and 3D models that align with company, industry, national, and international standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing complex CAD models, assemblies, and drawings while ensuring proper fit and integration with mating components.
- Applying Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) principles to create clear, production-ready product specifications.
- Utilizing CAD data management tools to maintain secure and accurate engineering records.
- Processing engineering work requests, collaborating cross-functionally, and supporting timely execution of design activities.
- Participating in and leading Drawing Quality Reviews to ensure models and drawings meet release standards.
- Partnering with engineering teams to generate concept models and refine product designs.
- Mentoring less experienced Product Designers and sharing best practices to maintain high-quality design standards.

Requirements:
- High school diploma, certificate of completion of secondary education or equivalent experience in an appropriate STEM field.
- Regionally applicable certification or two-year associate’s degree from an accredited college or university in a relevant field of study may be required.
- Significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience.
Additional Information:
- This position is in the CES ATA Design team, focusing on current product-related support activities.
- You will work with the global drafting group, CN planners, VPCR change managers, and other engineering team members.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling, including wiring/cabling modules, drafting practices, GD&T, and Windchill release process is expected.
- Basic understanding of DVA's/tolerance stack up is an advantage.
