Senior Product Designer

Starling Bank is the UK's first and leading digital bank on a mission to fix banking. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our team in London.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will rely on user-centred design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences for new products and features, from concept to execution across our iOS, Android, and Online Bank platforms. You will lead the design of major new strategic products and features, alongside tactical fixes and iterations of existing experiences.

Responsibilities:

• Rely on user-centred design methods to craft industry-leading user experiences for new products and features
• Lead the design of major new strategic products and features, alongside tactical fixes and iterations of existing experiences
• Take full ownership of your work, considering existing insights and research, technical constraints, and business needs
• Participate in regular design reviews to seek feedback on your work and share feedback on other designers' work
• Evolve and grow our internal tooling and design systems across mobile and web
• Advocate for, and design inclusive and accessible solutions to complex problems

Requirements:

• Experience working on high-quality products and features at a senior level, ideally in consumer-facing mobile apps in the finance or banking sector
• High level of attention to detail and craft, with strengths across both visual design and user experience design
• Highly collaborative, with experience working cross-functionally
• Ability to thrive working with ambiguous problems and distil complex flows into highly considered user experiences
• Track record of driving decision-making in a fast-paced product environment
• Experience working with and evolving design systems across iOS, Android, and responsive web
