Solutions Engineer Intern 2027 (USA)

As a Solutions Engineer Intern, you will work at the intersection of engineering, data, and Pinterest's advertising and revenue ecosystem.

What you'll do:

• Complete assigned technical projects with attention to quality, incorporating feedback from your mentor, manager, and peers.
• Execute scoped technical tasks end-to-end that contribute to Pinterest products and infrastructure.
• Build, test, debug, and improve code, scripts, automations, internal tools, or data workflows using guidance from experienced engineers.
• Investigate technical issues using logs, data, documentation, and structured troubleshooting.
• Participate in scheduled engineering on-call coverage during regular workdays and working hours.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, Sales, Operations, and Support teams to understand requirements and contribute to practical solutions.
• Help improve reporting, monitoring, documentation, sample code, or support processes.
• Use approved AI tools to accelerate research, coding, analysis, and documentation.

What we're looking for:

• Current enrollment in a school or education program working towards a Bachelor's in Computer Science, engineering, information systems, or a related technical field.
• Foundational understanding of programming concepts, debugging, and testing.
• Experience writing and debugging code in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, JavaScript, or C++.
• Clear communication of technical thinking and effective collaboration with teammates.
• Comfort working with structured data in tables or CSV files and using spreadsheets to organize or review data.
• Experience using AI tools to support learning, research, or technical problem-solving.

Internship Details:

• 2 internship start dates: May 17, 2027, August 6, 2027, June 14, 2027, September 3, 2027.
• Hybrid or remote work options available.

Salary:

• $7,500 - $9,500 monthly.
