The Kellogg-HKUST Executive MBA Program is a globally renowned partnership between the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University and the School of Business and Management at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
We are seeking a high-caliber and dynamic professional to join the Kellogg-HKUST EMBA Office as Manager (Operations and Admissions).
Key Responsibilities
The appointee will play a pivotal role in the administration, student admissions, and stakeholder engagement of the Program. Responsibilities include:
- Supporting prospective candidates throughout the admissions process and assisting with candidate evaluation and selection
- Building strong relationships with students, faculty, and other stakeholders
- Planning and delivering program activities such as orientations, residential weeks, graduation events, seminars, and networking functions
- Coordinating vendors and event logistics for local and overseas activities
- Supporting strategic initiatives that enhance the Program's reputation and development
- Managing databases, CRM systems, reports, and analyses to support operational and recruitment objectives
- Ensuring compliance with University policies and procedures
- Collaborating closely with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced international environment while undertaking other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or above
- At least seven years of post-qualification work experience, preferably in higher education, executive education, event management, business development, or related fields
- Proven experience working effectively with senior executives from diverse international and multicultural backgrounds
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Strong interpersonal, communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Proven ability in project management, event planning, and multitasking with meticulous attention to detail
- Experience in CRM systems and data management would be beneficial
- Proactive, resourceful, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while contributing effectively as a team member
- Flexibility to work outside normal office hours, on weekends when required, and willingness to undertake overseas travel.
Terms of Appointment
The appointment will be on a two-year renewable contract. A competitive remuneration package, including annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and a gratuity upon successful completion of the contract, will be offered. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
