Manufacturing Equipment Engineer

We are seeking a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer to join our team at American Honda Motor Company in Anna, Ohio. As a Manufacturing Equipment Engineer, you will lead, create, and implement innovative technical activities and solutions in the areas of Mass Production, Business Plan, and New Model to efficiently meet or exceed Safety, Environment, Quality, Delivery, Cost, and Morale characteristic targets.

Key Accountabilities:

• Communicate effectively with all levels of the organization to ensure alignment and clear direction.
• Analyze daily reports to identify safety, quality, and delivery gaps, and develop countermeasures and root cause analyses.
• Utilize data analysis and the PDCA methodology to lead and support cross-functional teams.
• Monitor and manage equipment and processes to ensure optimal manufacturing performance.
• Develop the capabilities of self, colleagues, and team members through training and mentoring.
• Establish priorities and make informed decisions based on data and analytics.
• Manage project implementation, schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Test, evaluate, and implement new technologies to improve equipment performance and process efficiency.
• Develop and manage investment and operating expense budgets.

Qualifications, Experience, and Skills:

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
• 0-6 years of experience, depending on education level.
• Manufacturing co-op experience preferred.
