Description
The Content Marketing Specialist II will work on creating impactful stories, messaging, and content for Cisco's core messaging, One Cisco. The role involves developing stories for Cisco on Cisco, interviewing technical subject matter experts, establishing relationships with SMEs and key stakeholders, delivering case studies, and optimising content for SEO.
Responsibilities:
- Develop stories for Cisco on Cisco
- Interview technical subject matter experts
- Establish and maintain relationships with SMEs and key stakeholders
- Deliver 1-2 case studies per quarter
- Create supplemental enablement assets
- Optimise content for SEO and audience engagement
- Research topics and trends to inform compelling content
- Assist with Messaging and Content team needs
- Research and fact-check technical information
- Ensure timely delivery of content
- Contribute to internal newsletters
- Conduct outreach to cross-functional teams
Requirements:
- Master's degree with 0 years of work experience
- Bachelor's degree with 2 years of work experience
- Educational or workforce development program with 3 years of work experience
- High school diploma with 4 years of work experience
- Experience in content marketing, blogging, executive and internal communications, editorial work, or related fields in tech
- Strong writing and editing skills

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Asana, Sharepoint, Generative AI, SEO best practices, and content performance metrics
- Willingness to work with AI as a tool
