Senior Associate, M&A Origination

CSC Generation is seeking a Senior Associate, M&A Origination to build the front end of its acquisition engine. The successful candidate will construct market maps, run outreach, and open conversations that turn into completed deals. The role involves working directly with senior deal professionals on a small, high-output team.

Responsibilities:

• Build market maps that drive acquisition strategy
• Develop a defensible point of view on sectors through primary industry research
• Construct and maintain a target universe of companies
• Run outreach at volume and with judgment
• Support coverage of the banker, broker, lender, and advisor network
• Screen inbound and sourced opportunities against investment criteria
• Stay with opportunities through diligence and deal documents
• Own pipeline hygiene, reporting, and tooling

Required Qualifications:

• 3-6 years in investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or transaction advisory
• Demonstrated ability to generate activity
• Solid financial literacy
• Strong research skills
• Fluency with sourcing and CRM platforms
• Comfort working quantitatively on coverage, conversion, and activity metrics
• High ownership mindset
• Willingness to travel regularly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in consumer, retail, ecommerce, or multi-unit businesses
• Exposure to carve-outs, distressed, or special-situations transactions
