Description
We are seeking an LGV 2 Driver to join our team at our Burgess Hill Depot. As an LGV 2 Driver, you will be responsible for driving various modes of LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders, collecting and emptying bins from our trade waste customers.
This is a great opportunity to work independently in the outdoors, making a difference to the local environment and communities. You will be part of a single-person crew and will have the chance to develop your skills with our in-house team.
Responsibilities:
- Drive LGV vehicles, including front and back loaders
- Collect and empty bins from trade waste customers
- Work independently and manage time effectively
- Maintain a strong commitment to health and safety
- Provide good communication and customer service skills
Requirements:
- Full, valid LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving licence
- Valid Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Good understanding of road safety and drivers' hours regulations
- Strong commitment to health and safety
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Previous LGV driving experience is desirable
