Physical Therapist - Therapy Float Pool

We are seeking a Physical Therapist to join our Therapy Float Pool team at Atrium Health. As a Physical Therapist, you will support four Atrium Health Inpatient facilities and three Acute Care facilities across the Carolinas.

Job Summary: As a Physical Therapist, you will provide age-appropriate patient care, evaluate patients, develop care plans, and implement evidence-based interventions. You will also communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care appropriate to their age and needs
• Evaluate patients and develop care plans
• Implement evidence-based interventions, including education, exercise, and modalities
• Monitor patient outcomes and adjust care plans as needed
• Communicate with patients, caregivers, and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in performance improvement initiatives

Requirements:

• Active Physical Therapy license in the state(s) of employment
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for Healthcare Providers
• Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
• Clinical experience consistent with independent physical therapy practice
• Strong clinical judgment and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Multi-state licensure or experience practising across multiple care settings
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Prior float, multi-site, or diverse clinical setting experience
