Description
This is a training role designed to prepare you for the Account Sales Manager position. As a Sales Trainee, you will support sales initiatives and provide route coverage for the Account Sales Manager during periods of absence. You will work with management to maintain customer relationships across sales, merchandising, and operations for all large and small format 'off-premise' stores. Your goal will be to service customers safely, productively, and professionally while adhering to Red Bull's executional standards.
Responsibilities
Training
The Sales Trainee role is a training position that prepares you for the Account Sales Manager role. Upon successful completion of the training program, you will be eligible to interview for open Account Sales Manager positions. If no Account Sales Manager or other qualified role is available, and you are meeting performance standards, you may remain in the Sales Trainee role for up to 12 months or until another qualified role becomes available.
Business Acumen
- Understand the basics of Red Bull and Red Bull Distribution Company, including the brand and products.
- Build and protect the Red Bull brand by ensuring proper rotation of fresh products.
- Establish and maintain friendly and professional relationships with customers to increase sales.
Daily Preparation
- Obtain necessary tools such as insights, displays, Point of Sale materials, and pricing to execute the daily plan.
- Communicate effectively with Account Sales Managers and District Sales Managers on daily priorities.
- Train with Account Sales Managers.
In-Route Support
- Support the global strategy for in-store execution measured by Winning vs Competition (WVC) and Perfect Store Audit (PSA).
- Cover Account Sales Manager routes as needed.
- Meet daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) focused on sales, distribution, pricing, display, new accounts, and merchandising.
Off-Route Support
- Assist the team with audits, promotional events, building displays, and merchandising to drive sales.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid US Driver's License and obtainment of DOT Medical card.
- At least 21 years of age.
- Experience in customer service and sales is beneficial.
- Ability to lift and transport up to 25 pounds of inventory and/or advertising displays.
- Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
