Senior Software Engineer

Money Movement systems are business-critical components of EarnIn's success, providing millions of customers with access to their money across various payment rails, including debit, RTP, and more, moving billions of dollars annually.

We seek experienced, collaborative, and resourceful senior engineers who have owned always-on production services and take pride in keeping them healthy.

Responsibilities:

• Drive the design and implementation of new features
• Own the health of the services built
• Use AI tools in daily workflow
• Improve reliability and observability
• Debug production issues
• Design and deliver robust microservice integrations
• Create and maintain test automation
• Collaborate with and mentor other engineers
• Work cross-functionally with data science, design, product, finance, accounting, and analytics

Requirements:

• Proven experience supporting live, production services
• 4+ years of delivering value through software in a collaborative environment
• Experience working in microservice architectures
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Hands-on experience using AI coding and productivity tools
• Proficient in at least one modern programming language
• Hands-on experience working with SQL databases
• Experience with continuous integration and delivery tools
• Experienced in developing and executing functional and integration tests
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
