Equipment Service Technician - Vehicle Quality Department - East Liberty Auto Plant

We are seeking a qualified Equipment Service Technician to join our team at the East Liberty Auto Plant in Ohio. As an Equipment Service Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining equipment, responding to emergency downtime, troubleshooting, and repairing robots, servo systems, electrical systems, automated machinery, and mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshoot and repair robots, servo systems, electrical systems, automated machinery, and mechanical systems
• Interpret electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic prints
• Complete assigned work orders and support production members in achieving line run rate efficiency
• Document daily activity and information in Equipment Management Systems (Maximo)
• Support weekend preventative maintenance, repair, and plant shutdown activities, as well as new equipment installations and equipment modifications

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Two-year degree in electrical, mechanical, or industrial field, or equivalent equipment maintenance experience
• Preferred 3 months of relevant experience
• Problem analysis skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), and time management

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing environment
• Potential 5-10 hours overtime per week
• Weekend and holiday work may be required
• Travel 2-3 weeks for training or other equipment issues
• 90% standing vs sitting
• Moderate lifting may be required
• 16 hours preventive maintenance weekend overtime average per month
