Physical Therapist, PRN, Outpatient, Weekends

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist's Outpatient Physical Therapy Department is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist to support weekend coverage. The ideal candidate will deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care and possess strong interpersonal, communication, teamwork, and time management skills.

Responsibilities:

• Provides patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments.
• Maintains accurate patient documentation, completing evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes per policy.
• Meets department financial and productivity standards, understanding budgeted expectations.
• Participates in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services.
• Promotes professional development and education of other healthcare workers.
• Supervises physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students.
• Communicates professionally and timely with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers.
• Provides appropriate patient care according to age/developmental guidelines.
• Adheres to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school required; M.S. or D.P.T. preferred.
• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the State of North Carolina with current licensure.
• CPR certification required every two years.
