Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management

As a Senior Manager, Enterprise Risk Management, you will have a direct reporting line to the General Manager of Macau Branch and a dotted line to the Chief Risk Officer of Prudential Hong Kong / Prudential General Insurance.

You will be a key member of the Macau Branch leadership team and support the General Manager in delivering the risk management and compliance frameworks to address various risks.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the Branch risk and compliance functions to ensure they are appropriately resourced and structured
• Managing and enhancing key regulatory interactions and relationships for the Branch
• Embedding risk and compliance-based decision making into the Branch's key decision and approval processes
• Supporting the Chief Risk Officer in providing management information and key issues to the Management Risk Committee
• Promoting the development of a risk management culture and resources across the company
• Developing an effective relationship with the Head Office Function and participating in ongoing development and improvements to the risk and compliance frameworks

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Laws and Risk Management
• A fully qualified solicitor of Macau SAR / HKSAR
• Relevant professional qualifications in legal, compliance, or risk management
• At least 15 years of experience in legal, risk management, or compliance, preferably in insurance
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation and facilitation capabilities
• Strong strategic and implementation skills, with a bias for action and results-driven
• Proven track record of success in people management and leadership skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact with senior executives
• Proven negotiation and influencing skills with multiple stakeholders and senior executives
• Meticulous with a strong risk management mindset
• Ability to multi-task, and be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently
• Ability to work with diverse personalities, cultures, and business practices inherent to an international organisation
• Proficiency in MS Office
• Excellent command in written and spoken Cantonese and English
