(PIPELINE) Advanced Effects - Buyer

We are seeking a highly motivated Buyer to join our Advanced Effects Procurement team. In this role, you will support procurement activities for key programs, manage supplier relationships, and ensure on-time delivery of critical materials and services.

Responsibilities

• Purchase Order Management: Create, issue, and manage purchase orders to meet production and program needs.
• Supplier Coordination: Maintain relationships with suppliers, monitor performance, and resolve issues related to quality, delivery, and pricing.
• Problem Solving: Quickly resolve supply chain disruptions, delivery delays, and quality issues to keep projects on track.
• Order Tracking: Monitor and expedite orders to meet deadlines and production schedules.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, manufacturing, and program teams to align procurement with company goals.
• Data & Process Management: Maintain accurate records, track procurement KPIs, and identify opportunities to streamline processes.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, business, or related field
• 3+ years of supply chain experience, including technical procurement
• Ability to read technical drawings and blueprints
• Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite at our Arsenal 1 campus in Ohio

• Strong organisational and time-management skills
• Ability to obtain advanced levels clearance
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities
• Proficiency in Excel; experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and problem-solving skills
