Description
We are seeking a Warehouse Technician to join our team at GEAB, a leading energy company on the island of Gotland.
As a Warehouse Technician, you will be responsible for the daily handling of materials and goods in our warehouse, ensuring that the right materials are available at the right time and place.
Your tasks will include:
- Picking and packing materials from shelves, pallets, and storage areas
- Receiving and handling incoming deliveries
- Registering and administering materials in our business and inventory systems
- Operational purchasing, including requesting quotes and creating purchase documentation
- Inventory management, stocktaking, and material planning
- Ensuring order, structure, and accessibility in the warehouse
We are looking for someone with experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics work, and who is comfortable with administrative tasks.
Requirements:
- Experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics work
- Good computer skills and experience with administrative tasks
- Proficiency in Swedish (both written and spoken)
- Valid driver's license (B-category)
Preferred qualifications:
- BE and C driving licenses
- Forklift license (A and B)
- Experience with SAP R/3 or similar business and inventory systems
- Experience in purchasing or material planning
