Description
Join the Investigational Drug Services team at Intermountain Health as a Clinical Pharmacist. You will work alongside investigators, providers, research coordinators, and pharmacy teams to support clinical trials, ensure regulatory compliance, and advance innovative patient care across the integrated health system.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee pharmaceutical aspects of clinical drug trials
- Facilitate rapport between Pharmacy Services, principal investigators, and trial sponsors
- Support development of policies, standard operating procedures, and clinical trial protocols
- Act as a liaison for Pharmacy Services with principal investigators or trial coordinators
- Attend and contribute to interdisciplinary meetings
- Maintain documentation of clinical drug trial activities
- Manage medication inventory for clinical trials
- Monitor pharmacy activities to ensure adherence to study protocols
- Collect and monitor reports related to clinical drug trials
- Support staff education and training
- Participate in selection and development of software programs
- Act as a preceptor for pharmacy learners
- Perform cross-functional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution
- Current Utah Pharmacist License
- Effective communication, people management, and project management skills
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations and statutes regarding pharmacy practice
- Relevant experience in investigational drug services, clinical research, or oncology pharmacy is preferred
