Description
We are seeking a Hospitality Assistant to join our team at Heathland Court Care Home in Wimbledon.
As a Hospitality Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our residents receive dignified, personalised attention during mealtimes, promoting social interaction and contributing to their overall well-being.
Responsibilities:
- Set up tables in the restaurant
- Serve in the restaurant at mealtimes
- Prepare trays and provide room service to residents who wish to stay in their rooms for meals
- Ensure the restaurant and café are tidy and meet high standards
- Keep the kitchen area clean and tidy at all times
- Support other areas as required, such as serving meals or removing trays from resident's rooms
Requirements:
- A caring and compassionate individual with a background in customer service, ideally with experience in catering or kitchen roles (though not essential)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Commitment to providing outstanding service to our residents and upholding a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary environment
