Description
Electronic Arts is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to join the Game Intelligence team within the Enterprise Intelligence organisation. The successful candidate will collaborate with product managers, engineers, game designers, and quality teams to enhance player experiences and drive business outcomes through data.
The Senior Data Analyst will report to the Senior Manager of Analytics and use their expertise to inform strategic decisions across product optimisation, gameplay features, technology, testing, and overall quality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analysing player and product data to uncover patterns and recommend opportunities to improve performance, stability, automation, and test coverage and bug metrics
- Building dashboards, reports, and visualisations to help stakeholders make better, faster decisions
- Contributing to the development of predictive models and other applications of machine learning that personalise player experiences or support product decisions
- Exploring and applying generative AI tools to increase the efficiency of work and support scalable insights
- Working with partners to define the right questions to ask and the right data to use, helping embed data in daily decision-making
- Presenting findings to both technical and non-technical audiences
The ideal candidate will have:
- 3+ years of experience in data analysis or applied analytics, in gaming, software, mobile apps, or similar
- Proficiency in SQL for querying large datasets; experience with analysis and modelling in Python or R
- Experience with visualisation tools such as Looker, PowerBI
- Ability to translate business needs into technical data requirements
- Experience with or interest in using machine learning and generative AI tools to support analytics or player insights
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Ability to independently manage assigned tasks including work planning for assigned deliverables
