Staff Product Manager, Consumer Money - Consumer Banking

As a Staff Product Manager, Consumer Money - Consumer Banking, you will own core Wallet experiences and work at the intersection of payroll and consumer banking. You will build products that help workers smooth cash flow between paychecks, save automatically, and avoid predatory alternatives like payday lenders and overdraft fees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own roadmap initiatives spanning Gusto financial services
• Ship consumer banking experiences across the customer lifecycle
• Take responsibility for the business outcomes of your workstream
• Be the fintech infrastructure and payments expert
• Use Gusto's unique position in the payroll ecosystem to build consumer features
• Deeply understand our customers, particularly hourly and salaried workforces
• Get in the trenches with cross-functional teams
• Evaluate and execute opportunities with external vendors
• Measure what matters , define KPIs and use data to drive prioritization

Requirements:

• 7+ years of product management experience in accounting, financial software, or an adjacent domain
• Familiarity with AI tools and comfortable using AI tools
• Data-oriented and experienced using data to inform decisions
• Meaningful familiarity with accounting concepts
• Comfortable facing ambiguous problems
• Ability to wear multiple hats
• Strong frameworks/foundations to prioritize and deliver on customer needs and business outcomes

Salary: $184,000/yr to $230,000/yr for San Francisco & New York
