Quality Designer II

Electronic Arts is looking for a Quality Designer II to join their Quality Verification and Standards (QVS) team. As a Quality Designer II, you will be part of the Quality Verification (QV) team that helps deliver and protect the revenue for Golf Clash.

Responsibilities:

• Re-establish senior onsite Quality Verification leadership in Manchester by owning feature and live-service quality strategy
• Reinforce the Manchester–Hyderabad operating model by improving context sharing and aligning expectations and standards
• Be involved in an extensive hands-on testing routine to ensure full knowledge of the title under test at all times
• Design and execute advanced manual and automated test suites that provide extensive coverage across your areas of responsibility
• Interpret product-level data and adapt existing metrics or KPIs to continuously raise quality requirements
• Build advanced, accurate reports leveraging multiple data sources to deliver targeted insights to project stakeholders
• Take a data-driven approach to test prioritization, basing decisions on live patterns, telemetry, and unique product factors

Qualifications:

• Strong analytical, collaborative, and communication skills
• Experience using data to engineer informed testing solutions and prioritize daily workflows
• Ability to build strategic cross-functional relationships and develop test plans that incorporate alternative validation methods
• Active contribution to the Quality Designer (QD) community goals
• Hands-on experience with defect tracking software, QA planning tools, and Mobile platforms
• Skilled in writing comprehensive test plans and cases using black, grey, and white box testing practices
• Exposure to Mobile games and associated development ideologies
• Excellent written and verbal English skills

• Proven experience using tools like Confluence, Slack, or Miro to collaborate effectively with off-site teams
• Passion for innovative testing through automation, data-driven methods, AI tools, and prompt writing for game QA
