Senior Solutions Architect - East

GitLab is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to help prospects and customers in the East region of the United States understand how their AI-powered DevSecOps platform can solve technical issues and advance business goals.

As a Senior Solutions Architect, you’ll act as a strategic technical advisor and serve as a strategic technical partner who guides complex evaluations, shapes long-term architecture choices, and helps customers modernize their software development processes.

Responsibilities:

• Guide technical discovery, product demonstrations, and validation activities to confirm technical fit and accelerate evaluation milestones.
• Own the technical evaluation process for complex opportunities, including solution design and technical materials for tenders and audits.
• Develop end-to-end technical strategies for assigned accounts to expand platform adoption and enable multi-team transformation milestones.
• Collaborate with Account Executives and regional sales teams to shape account and territory plans.
• Advise technical practitioners and business leaders on modern software development and platform adoption practices.
• Drive competitive analysis and positioning for complex opportunities.
• Represent the voice of the customer by sharing product feedback and field insights with internal teams.
• Mentor other Solutions Architects and contribute to team learning initiatives.

Requirements:

• Experience working with customers in technical pre-sales or consulting roles.
• Ability to solve customer issues with broad scope and high complexity.
• Knowledge of the end-to-end software development lifecycle, including DevSecOps practices and cloud concepts.
• Hands-on familiarity with GitLab or similar platforms.
• Experience facilitating workshops and leading proofs of concept.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

Salary Range: $137,400-$231,200 USD
