Job Overview
We are seeking experienced software engineers to join the Platform Ecosystem team at Anthropic. This team is part of our Platform organization and plays a crucial role in empowering industries to build on our AI technology, Claude. You will be part of a founding team, driving efforts from conception to delivery, collaborating with various departments, and shaping our strategy in new domains.
Responsibilities
Verticals
You will work on building for emerging API markets, such as Life Sciences & Healthcare. This involves understanding industry needs, developing capabilities, integrations, and workflows that enable the safe and scalable adoption of Claude. You will need to adapt quickly to unfamiliar domains, learn market requirements, and deliver products that open up new customer categories.
Monetization
Your tasks will include designing and operating systems that allow businesses using Claude to price, package, and sell their creations. This work intersects with product, platform infrastructure, and go-to-market strategies, directly influencing the growth of the Claude ecosystem.
Requirements
- Minimum of 8 years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer, with some frontend experience.
- Strong product sense and technical ability to tackle various challenges.
- Experience with AI tools in software development.
- Ability to take full ownership of work from design to deployment.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and making independent technical decisions.

- Annual Salary: $405,000-$485,000 USD.
