Strategic Real Estate, Portfolio Planning & Strategy Lead

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U.S. and allied military capabilities with advanced technology.

As Portfolio Planning & Strategy Lead, you will own the planning process that decides how much space Anduril needs, of what type, where, and when. You'll report to the Director of Strategic Real Estate.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the Real Estate Planning Cycle: Run the quarterly portfolio forecast end to end.
• Portfolio Demand & Supply Forecasting: Forecast seat, office, R&D, and production space demand against current and committed supply.
• Efficiency & Utilization Measurement: Define and track metrics to show whether the portfolio is working.
• Workforce Strategy: Work with Talent, People, and division leaders to understand how Anduril grows.
• Executive Communications: Build and present decision materials that get C-suite and division-leader decisions made.
• Build the Planning System: Maintain and extend the planning data pipeline and models.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Data / Information Science, Urban Planning, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic real estate planning, corporate portfolio strategy, FP&A, capacity or workforce planning, real estate investing, development, or corporate development.
• Strong financial and analytical modeling.
• Hands-on use of LLMs and modern data platforms.
• Excellent communication, with a demonstrated capacity to influence cross-functional teams and senior executives.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience forecasting space for manufacturing, R&D, or other capital-intensive operations.
• A track record of building forecasts from incomplete or conflicting plan data.
• Experience planning around M&A integration, relocations, or consolidations.
• Background in defense, aerospace, or another fast-growing hardware company.
