Physical Therapist

We are seeking a full-time Physical Therapist to join our team at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center - Outpatient Rehabilitation: Clemmons Med Plz.

The successful candidate will provide patient care assessment and treatment, ensuring comprehensive and functional evaluations and treatments according to the Standard of Practice.

Key responsibilities include:

• Providing sound professional judgment in interpreting evaluation results and establishing treatment plans
• Maintaining accurate patient documentation and completing written patient evaluations, progress notes, and discharge notes
• Meeting department financial and productivity standards
• Participating in process management to optimize quality and efficiency of services
• Promoting professional development and education of other healthcare workers
• Supervising physical therapy and physical therapy assistant students
• Communicating effectively with patients, physicians, staff, and external customers
• Providing age/developmentally specific patient care
• Adhering to general hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment

Requirements:

• Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in North Carolina with current licensure
• Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited physical therapy school
• CPR certification required every two years
