Description
As a Trading Manager - Fashion, Home & Beauty at Marks & Spencer, you will partner with Store Directors to deliver outstanding trading performance across your division.
You will translate national trading strategies into locally relevant plans that maximise sales, profit, and customer engagement.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Identifying local market opportunities, competitor activity, and customer trends to drive commercial growth.
- Analysing trading performance, sales data, and stock productivity to uncover opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Influencing stock, space, and trading decisions through actionable customer and store insight.
- Building strong partnerships across stores, regions, and support centre teams to deliver divisional priorities.
To be successful in this role, you will be a commercially astute retail leader with a passion for understanding customer behaviour and what drives local market performance.
You will have strong Fashion, Home & Beauty trading and commercial experience within a retail environment, as well as:
- Proven ability to analyse performance data and translate insight into measurable action.
- Experience identifying local market opportunities and developing successful trading plans.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at Regional Manager, Store Director, and support centre level.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with confidence presenting commercial recommendations.
