Track Coach

We are looking for a results-driven Track Coach to join our community of educators in New York City.

As a Track Coach, you will be part of a highly motivated team committed to education reform, parent choice, and the building of exemplary schools.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with coaches across the network to build a world-class athletics program;
• Inspire a love for sport and encourage critical thinking through rigorous instruction;
• Coordinate and lead family meetings;
• Receive routine, ongoing feedback and support from an outstanding leadership team and faculty.

Requirements:

• Experience coaching youth and/or collegiate teams;
• Advanced understanding/experience of Track and Field, Cross Country, and Long-distance running;
• Ability to manage both administrative and coaching aspects of the position in a timely and organized manner;
• Demonstrated track record of propelling students' understanding and love of sport;
• Experience working with K-12 grades in a school setting (a plus);
• Drive to ensure that joyful, rigorous instruction is delivered to every scholar, every day;
• Ability to become part of the school community and build relationships with key stakeholders and all constituents.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Passion for learning and commitment to student development;
• Ability to work in person in New York City ($2500 stipend for qualified relocations).

Compensation:

• $65,000-$65,000 USD per year.
