Description
This position leads all tax-related activities, including tax compliance, planning, tax accounting & reporting, and payment processes, while supporting finance operations, process optimization, transformation initiatives, and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end tax activities including planning, reporting, and payment processes.
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of all tax returns and payments.
- Monitor developments in tax legislation and communicate relevant updates to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure full compliance with local tax laws and regulations.
- Identify tax risk and opportunities and advise on appropriate actions.
- Conduct research and analysis of tax laws, regulations, and legislative developments.
- Provide tax planning advice and strategic recommendations to management.
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
- Collaborate with other functions to evaluate the tax implications.
- Support in finance-led transformation initiatives.
- Support in optimizing finance processes, templates, and workflows.
- Support day-to-day financial operations including payment processing, bookkeeping, and account reconciliations.
- Perform other responsibilities and duties periodically assigned by line manager.
