We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our Analytics Infrastructure team, focusing on building data tools that enable data practitioners to efficiently explore and analyze data. You will work on improving our AI-powered data analytics, collaborating with other data platform teams, and ensuring high-quality data tools.

We provide an integrated suite of analytics frameworks, services, and applications. As a backend/full-stack software engineer on the Analytics Products team, you will build data tools that enable data practitioners to efficiently explore and analyze data.

A Typical Day:
- Build new features to support user's workflows within our data products
- Collaborate with teams within Airbnb's data platform on integrations
- Engage with users of our products
- Contribute to maintaining a high technical quality bar
- Support users and the team's operations via lightweight on-call support
Your Expertise:
- 8+ years of full-time, relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience with data, SQL, data engineering, or analytics engineering
- Passion for building interactive and delightful user experiences
- Appetite for high-quality code and robust systems
- Experience with building AI agents, context engineering, or AI harness is a plus
- Expertise with frontend development, HTML, CSS, TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React is a plus
- Experience in big data technologies, e.g., Airflow, Spark, Trino, etc. is a plus
